Implementation of manufacturing cells

Implementation of continuous flow in plant operations. Reduction of work-in-process inventory. Redesign and implementation, using lean principles, of all physical changes in the workshop and in production, planning, and logistics processes.

Redesign of automotive manufacturer operations

The operations model was transformed using lean principles. This was achieved by using the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) tool, which established a new model incorporating pacemakers, supermarkets, and FIFO lanes.

Warehouse design

Implementation of a new warehouse for an industrial supplier. Data analysis to identify relevant movement information. Definition of material flows and layout. Establishment of a new location policy and picking process. Digitization of operations.

Reduction of Supply Stock

The stock management system and replenishment programs for each quality/reference were adapted. Stock levels were established based on demand forecasts and service objectives. Supplier service is taken into account when establishing replenishment plans. Historical demand and supplier supply data are used as a starting point.
